I have a special connection to this deliciously floral honey in that I know the bees who made it. The hives were added to my community orchard here in Bristol last year and this is Christy’s first harvest. It’s as local as honey gets, but I wanted to offer it online too so that people beyond Bristol can taste it. The bees feed on the apple, pear and cherry blossom in the orchard making it really floral. Proper pure, raw, unpasteurised honey is so much better than supermarket honey as it hasn’t been blended or heated and stripped of its nutrients to create a uniform taste. This would make a lovely gift teamed with my Bee Print Linen Bread Bag or Tea Towel and a hand-carved wooden honey spoon.
