This new magazine is simply beautiful and I was so excited when I discovered it, I ordered a copy straight away and asked its creator Eleanor Cheetham if I could stock it! This Issue is the very first one ever published and it is now sold out except for a few copies on here and with other stockists. Their description on the website puts it so perfectly that I’ve taken their words to sum up what Creative Countryside is – it’s a magazine “For those who strive to live more slowly, who are inspired by the first snowdrop and who walk outside in the rain. For lovers of stories, everyday adventures and local traditions. For those who opt for simplicity, appreciate ancient crafts, and celebrate the seasons”. I read it from cover to cover in a morning and then wanted to go back and read it again. The photography is stunning and it’s more like a coffee table book than a magazine. The theme for Issue 1 is GATHER and it includes celebrating apple harvest, wild adventuring in the rain and the folklore of fire.
