I love ferns as you can probably tell from my collection, so I was excited to commission these fern imprint soap dishes last month made by local Bristol ceramicist and good friend of mine Wendy Calder. To make these dishes, Wendy imprints real fern leaves into slabbed white earthenware. A green underglaze is used to highlight the imprint, then a transparent glaze is added and drainage holes are cut out.
Available in 2 sizes: Medium (£18.50) and Large (£22 – see separate listing)
Please note design may vary slightly from photo as each one is handmade and unique. If not in stock, make time is 2 to 3 weeks.
Size: Medium – 10cm x 9.5cm (My Wild Sage & Co and Elsie Moss soaps fit comfortably on both sizes of dish)

Review for Medium Fern Ceramic Soap Dish
Delighted with this soap dish. Really pretty and so well made. With all the lovely soaps available I would highly recommend. So very much nicer than a plastic soap dispenser.

Wow !
Just received my soap dish, and it’s even more beautiful in real life than the photo. My wife is so happy, and surprised, she told me that she didn’t know I had such good taste !
Thanks Naomi !

I bought this for my daughter along with the woodland soap for Christmas after seeing Naomi at a craft fair. Really lovely design and will look lovely in her bathroom.
