I love foraging and I spend a lot of time wandering the fields near the studio, picking grasses and flowers to press, elderflower for cordial, leaves for printing with and other bits. When I saw these beautiful new foraging baskets made by hand by Jess from Ruby Cubes, I messaged her to order one for myself straight away and asked her to make me some for the collection in my favourite colour combination of a mossy green and a jade blue to reflect the fields and the sky. Designed specifically for foraging days, these beautiful baskets fold up to become a soft handled carrier for hedgerow treasures. They are handmade from unbleached cotton rope so they are great for the planet too. They are really slim and lightweight, which makes them great for travelling with. Practical and beautiful, this rope foraging basket is perfect for outdoor adventures. Each one is handmade using a freeform sewing technique. Please allow for a small variation in dimensions as each is individually created.
Dimensions: 43cm diameter, 18cm height (when folded)
Care: Spot wash with warm water and dry in the sun or near a radiator. Cotton soaks up stains but also releases them very easily. Stubborn stains can be removed with a little baking soda paste and warm water. Hot water will shrink the cotton.
