The new Golden Forest art collection by Ruth Thorp is inspired by the incredible changing Autumn colours of the aspen and birch forests of the Cairngorms and Scottish Highlands.
Golden Forest (main photo) – this design was originally produced for Ernest Journal to illustrate an article written by Nick Hunt about the mythical history of the wild Cairngorm reindeer herd.
Take Flight (top left of group shot) – a lovely illustration of a Scottish loch featuring flying geese and birch trees.
Night Light (bottom left of group shot) – a misty, magical night forest illustration featuring glowing autumn birch trees, moonlight and flying geese.
Autumn Mist (middle right of group shot) – another in the Golden Forest series featuring an autumnal sunset over birch trees.
Created digitally with a mix of hand-drawn elements and photographic textures. Available as A4 prints (210mm x 297mm) with 15mm white border as shown in group shot and A3 prints (297mm x 420mm) with 20mm white border as shown in main photo. The print will fit perfectly in corresponding ‘A’ size frames. Printed on 352gsm FSC certified GF Smith Mohawk Options.
