I love simplicity when it comes to ceramics and things that feel really earthy and natural. I love these new candle holders by Tim Fenna. Tim takes his inspiration from the natural world and traditional craftsmanship. He uses a wheel to throw simple forms, allowing the process and the beauty of the materials to speak for themselves, which is exactly what spoke to me when I saw his work.
He created this beautiful speckled white and green glaze combination as a candle holder especially for my autumn collection. I love the colours together and they look so good with the warm yellow of my beeswax candles. I like to fill the dish around the holder with little bits of autumn too like acorn cups or mini pinecones.
Each candle holder is handmade on a potter’s wheel using traditional techniques, then hand-dipped in a stoneware glaze before being fired in an electric kiln. Price is per individual candle holder, not for a set of 2. If not in stock, the average make time is 3 weeks.
Size: Diameter 10.5cm, Height 3cm. Candle holder width: 2cm (fits my beeswax dinner candles perfectly)
