I love tactile ceramics that feel really earthy and natural and I love drinking coffee, so this is the perfect combination for me. I’ve been looking for a beautiful ceramic coffee pour over for a while, and these are so beautiful. This coffee making set combines a pour-over coffee dripper for use with paper coffee filters and a lovely sized mug, both in a speckled white and green glaze.
Tim takes his inspiration from the natural world and traditional craftsmanship. He uses a wheel to throw simple forms, allowing the process and the beauty of the materials to speak for themselves, and those things are exactly what spoke to me in his work.
I love this colour combination and these mugs are so tactile with the beautiful throwing lines. Each mug and coffee dripper is handmade on his potter’s wheel using traditional techniques, then hand-dipped in a stoneware glaze before being fired in an electric kiln. Handwash only. This price is for the full set of mug and coffee dripper – if you just want a coffee dripper on its own, these are £25 and you can order that via the White Coffee Dripper.
Size: Mug is 8cm high by 9.5cm wide. Dripper is 8cm high by 12.5cm wide at top and 11cm wide at base and fits most standard coffee cups. Dripper takes standard coffee filter papers too.
