I’m a big hot water bottle fan and I love the idea of this more natural wheat-filled version that you just pop in the microwave. It’s a warming treat for yourself or a friend who feels the cold over the winter season in a beautiful blue cornflower print. Great for soothing all aches and pains and a perfect Christmas gift. Hand printed on 100% cotton using cornflower blue eco-friendly water based ink.

Spot wash only. Dimensions: W15 x H24 cm Filled with 415g of wheat. Please follow the heating instructions carefully and DO NOT EXCEED THE HEATING TIME. Place flat in the microwave alongside a cup of water and heat for the time shown below. 650W – 750W Microwave – 1 minute 30 seconds 850W – 1000W Microwave – 1 minute 20 seconds The product can also be used cold by placing it in a plastic bag and then putting it in the freezer for 3 or 4 hours. More detailed heating instructions are included with the product.

I came across Megan Alice England in a little shop in Bristol and loved her vibrant colours and prints and the fact that she uses eco friendly inks so I asked if she would be part of These Two Hands and chose my favourite products and prints from her huge collection. Megan specialises in hand printed textiles with a passion for screen printing, drawing and bold use of colour. She has created a range of prints inspired by her surroundings and designed to make you smile. Everything is created at her studio in Cheltenham, with great care and attention to detail. To help lower her impact on the environment, Megan prints all her textile products with water based, non solvent, eco friendly inks.
