Oak Leaf & Acorn Necklace

by Bethan Jarvis

Beautiful and delicate, this necklace features a solid silver oak leaf next to a whole acorn in yellow bronze or copper on a solid silver snake chain, and looks absolutely stunning on. Bethan’s jewellery is the loveliest I’ve ever come across and I’m so proud to stock her designs. Having stocked some rings since I launched, I decided it was time to expand the range so I asked her for some earrings and this necklace too. It features a real hand-cast oak leaf collected from Llanberis, at the foot of Snowdon and an acorn in yellow bronze or copper, created from real hand-cast acorns collected from Glynllifon estate, set between the beautiful Llyn Peninsula and the historic town of Caernarfon in Wales. You can really see the detail in both the leaf and acorn. This makes a really lovely gift for someone special who loves nature – perhaps an anniversary or milestone birthday – or a treat for yourself. It comes in a natural kraft recycled card gift box.

Leaves are ca. 3cm and acorns are ca. 1.5cm, chain is ca. 22cm long.

Material: Snake chain and oak leaf are solid silver, acorns are available in a choice of copper or yellow bronze.

Bethan Jarvis lives in the heart of Wales and inspired by the countryside and nature all around her. I’ve never found such stunning leaf jewellery and I was so excited to discover her last year at Bovey Tracey craft fair. I knew her designs would be perfect for the then still to be launched These Two Hands collection! She collects miniature oak leaves from Llanberis which is at the foot of Snowdon, and acorn cups from the Glynllifon estate set between the beautiful Llyn Peninsula and the historic town of Caernarfon. Individual casts are then made of each one to create unique and stunning jewellery!
