Description

I love Mughda’s beautiful natural skincare, oils and perfumes. I discovered her through Instagram and felt an immediate connection. Just the words she uses to describe her business sum up why I love Kindred + Wild so much – “Kindred is for connectedness, not just with each other but because deep down we all understand the need and importance of connecting with nature. Because everything is interconnected. Kindred is for the connection to ourself. Wild are the things we don’t understand but need to learn or revive, like so much lost wisdom about plants, and also of life. Wild is to remind me to be outdoors more, to be with nature, to learn and be inspired from it. Wild is for the landscape of the inner Self that is untamed and hidden.”

This is a beautifully natural and cleansing oil infused with Rosemary, Yarrow and Thyme for Hair + Body, massage or bath. It combines my favourite herbs and smells so good. You can use this oil as:

–        A cleansing bath oil: Gently massage into the skin on the body, soak in a warm bath, inhale the fragrance deeply and relax

–        A hair massage and cleansing oil: Massage onto dry hair and scalp, leave on for 20-30 mins  before washing and shampooing as normal.

–        A massage oil for body, pre- or post- shower

Kindred + Wild products are are made with natural ingredients, organic where possible, for everyday use and rituals. Mughda’s inspiration and research for products is rooted in the healing power of the botanical world and concepts of Herbal medicine, Ayurveda, Aromatherapy and other traditional herb wisdom.

The products are handmade in small batches and are free from synthetic ingredients like phthalates and parabens and packaged in recyclable glass jars and bottles.

Plant Powers:

Coconut Oil: The traditional favourite as a hair conditioning and nourishing oil in India and one that is most absorbed by the hair. With the amount of info already out there about the amazing qualities of coconut oil, need I say more?

Sesame Oil: This oil is highly recommended by Ayurveda for massage for body and hair. It is rich in vitamin E, B6 and minerals that helps in the strengthening of hair, rejuvenate skin cells and detoxify the body. The viscosity and warming quality of this oil makes it ideal for massaging. The antioxidant called Sesamol present in this oil is said to prevent the appearances of wrinkles and fine lines.

Rosemary: Anti-viral, anti-fungal and anti-bacterial, rosemary oil has been traditionally used promote healthy hair, discourage lice and dandruff as well as a general cleanser.  Considered a stress buster, it improves blood circulation and hair growth.

Thyme: Thyme is said to slow the ageing process which is why it’s used to preserve meat. It was also used in the embalming process of Mummies in Ancient Egypt! It can also add shine to hair.

Yarrow: Historically used staunch wounds and bleeding. But it’s also said to heal by promoting growth of skin tissue. Another historical use was as a hair rinse as it also promotes hair growth.
