Guilia is a Bristol potter who creates graceful and unique ceramics that make you want to wrap your hands around them. For these beautiful mugs, she worked with stoneware clay and medium-temperature glazes which she hand-brushed onto the biscuit ware pieces. She focus on a grey palette with hints of blue and brown to evoke the colours of autumn and create a woodsmokey, hazey texture. She loves to experiment with contrasting colour combinations and runny glazes to complement the straight lines and simple designs of her pieces. I love her work and I hope you do too.
