I first met Beth of BooLouLew at a local market and we bonded over our mutual love of leaves and pinecones and our little girls bonded over a love of rolling on the floor! We have become great friends and her designs are perfect for the These Two Hands collection! Beth uses the Woodcut printmaking process to create her beautiful prints on paper, wood or fabric (you can read all about the process in the Maker tab). The design is hand carved on Shina Plywood block using simple carving tools and a steady hand, then carefully hand printed on recycled paper stock with high quality, eco-friendly, vegetable oil based artists ink, using a roller printing press. These unique A4 prints make great gifts for any nature loving friend or a little treat for yourself. The design features a selection of wildflowers found in spring in her sustainably managed woodland in North Cornwall, including Lady’s Smock, Red Campion, Mustard Garlic, Wild Garlic, Speedwell, Wild geranium, Daisies, Buttercups, primrose and her daughter’s favourite ‘Dandylionas’.
Each print comes in a protective film and a reinforced envelope to ensure safe arrival. This print is also available printed in gold embossed on black paper and on plywood.
