Description
These beautiful wooden jam/chutney spoons are handcarved by James of Jem Woodcraft from locally grown wood. He painted the handles with a sage green milk paint last autumn and this autumn he has painted some in a dark petrol grey blue and a brighter navy blue for me to go with my hedgerow inspired palette. The handles are feature a delicate chevron patterned carve detail too.
I love James’s passion for wood and carving and the detail in every spoon he makes. I love his ethos too – he only takes a branch or 2 which provides about 10 spoons and he replants 2 trees for every one he uses.
Size: ca. 16cm, each one varies slightly
Material: Wild cherry wood with sage green paint, plum wood with blue paints
