My great friend Jess hand engraves these beautiful bees onto clear glass frames. She etches the glass using a point engraving technique whereby she draws the illustration on to the surface of the glass using a drill. Each piece is entirely unique. Her glass engravings are framed in metal using the Tiffany technique of copper foil and lead solder. She then adds a thin sage green satin ribbon to hang them with.
Jess takes her inspiration from the ephemeral beauty of nature for her illustrations. Made for the love of bees and inspired by her garden. Perfect to hang from windows or in front of a mirror and give as a gift to someone special.
