These beautifully natural, moisturising soaps smell amazing and are a real treat for your skin. You can use them all over, for face and body, and they leave your skin feeling soft and smooth. All Julie’s soaps are made with 100% natural, Vegan ingredients and are lovingly crafted at her cottage in the Herefordshire countryside, using processes that retain the free oils and natural glycerin which is what makes them so incredibly moisturising. When you’re not using the soaps, it’s best to keep them out of water on a well drained surface so that they dry out between uses. Use a soap dish (ceramic dishes with drainage holes or wooden dishes with open slats and holes are perfect) or you can even be a bit creative and use a few pebbles from the garden or a shell.

Each soap is 100g and comes wrapped in recycled paper which can be composted, so no more plastic bottles in the bathroom! Vegan, Cruelty Free and Plastic Free!

Lavender & Geranium – the blend of Lavender and Geranium essential oils helps to sooth and balance whilst a touch of pink clay helps to draw out impurities and clear the skin.

Sweet Orange & Lavender – a lovely blend of thee two essential oils to calm and soothe the senses. In this soap, Rapeseed Oil is packed full of Vitamin E and K which help to smooth fine lines and reduce the signs of ageing. Coconut Oil reduces inflammation and maintain skin’s moisture. Sunflower Oil is rich in Vitamin E and antioxidants, making it an effective oil to combat skin problems like acne and redness. Annatto Seeds are full of antioxidants, helping to fight free radicals and keep skin young.

Green Clay & Cedarwood – French green clay softly draws out impurities from the skin, whilst the cedar wood essential oil is great for oily skin and acne. It is also great for sensitive or dry/eczema prone skin, helping to alleviate itching and irritation. Lavender essential oil calms and heals, Patchouli helps to ground and Cedarwood has a great calming effect on the senses.

Three Flowers & Clay –  this is a great soap for the face. It was designed to work as an incredible cleanser and its ingredients are especially good for oily and acne prone skin. I use it every evening to cleanse my face and it’s so moisturising. Julie uses French Red Clay which is very high in iron and other essential minerals, helping to replenish tired skin and cleanse impurities from blocked pores. The three flower essential oils are healing Lavender, balancing Geranium and Palmarosa. Although not strictly a flower, Palmarosa is known for its balancing effect on the skins sebum, helping to rejuvenate and promote skin regeneration, as well as to reduce scarring.

Himalayan Salt – This soap smells great and leaves your skin feeling amazing. It’s great for a morning shower to awaken the senses. It contains Himalayan Pink Salt to provide a gentle exfoliation. Salt has long been used in daily skin care routines, but with Himalayan salt’s 84 minerals it’s not just good for use in the kitchen! It combines a healthy dose of Organic Shea Butter, to nourish and moisturise, and refreshing Peppermint and Eucalyptus essential oil, to clear the sinuses and invigorate the senses.

Mama & Baby –  This soap is made with chamomile, and calendula infused Extra Virgin Olive Oil along with lots of lovely organic carrot pulp. Julia also uses organic Shea and Cocoa Butter to make it beautifully gentle and moisturising. It is Allergen Free and with no essential oils so it’s perfect for babies, children and the most sensitive skin.

Shampoo Bar – formulated with lots of lovely cold pressed Uk Rapeseed oil and Organic Apple Cider Vinegar along with Julie’s homegrown Rosemary, infused Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

We purchased the lavender and geranium soap as a gift for a friend, along with a couple of other items. Naomi wrapped everything beautifully and sent the package with a handwritten note – needless to say, it was all very well received! Naomi’s whole collection is beautiful, but more than that we love the ethos behind These Two Hands: the celebration of nature and craftsmanship, and the idea of finding deep-rooted connection between people and place. Thank you, Naomi! Shopping with you is a joy from start to finish. x
