I was looking for thicker perfect bound notebooks to add to my notebook collection as I love a new notebook and I found Jenna and her beautiful nature-inspired notebooks. Each one features a mixed media illustration from somewhere she has been in the UK. I chose 4 of my favourite designs for the shop:
The Wildflower Meadow features a beautiful autumnal wildflower meadow in Rodley Nature Reserve, Yorkshire. The Somerset Levels shows this beautiful area viewed from Ham Wall Nature Reserve, which is where I go and watch starling murmurations every year. The Zennor Head notebook features a lovely coastal image of this beautiful and famous point on the South West Coast Path in Cornwall. And the Starling Murmuration notebook is taken from a murmuration at St Aidan’s nature reserve in Yorkshire.
Jenna loves getting outdoors with a sketchbook to draw in the wonderful wild and pull inspiration from the beautiful world we live in. She loves to look for the magic in the world around us, and to encourage others to do the same. Her notebooks start life as hand-created designs, using paints, pens, pencils, soft pastels, crayons, and more Once the messy, art side of the design process is complete, the designs are then digitised and tweaked to create final products. Notebooks are perfect bound and lined, with 192 pages and secured with an elastic band closure in a colour that complements that illustration.
