The useful and beautiful match bottles make great Christmas gifts! I think they are a great gift for people who have everything. They are made by a small husband and wife team in Oxfordshire whose focus is traditional letterpress stationery but they also make collector style matchboxes and these lovely large, chunky glass bottles full of matches. Each one holds roughly 135 luxury long matches and features a cork stopper and a cleverly positioned strike plate on the underneath of the bottle. They strike really easily and are great for outdoor fires as the bottle keeps the matches dry if it’s a bit damp. These are a perfect mantelpiece accessory and make a lovely, unusual gift!
Choose from a classic Bee design printed on a white label with yellow tipped matches or a Gold Bee printed on an orange label with orange matches.
