I love robins and I especially love this pencil and watercolour drawing of a sweet little robin perching tenderly on the hand of a gardener. Robins and their red breasts are an iconic sight in gardens over the winter months. They form a bond with gardeners, coming close to look for worms, and slowly building up trust. This little robin will even feed from the gardener’s palm. I love the juxtaposition of the delicate bird and the gruff hand of the gardener in this image.

This card design is one of Hannah’s ‘winter’ cards. It is designed so that you can use it as a Christmas card, but it is also blank inside so you can use it as a general card throughout the year, too. It is perfect for thank you notes or for a letter to a friend. People often associate robins with lost loved ones so it would also make a lovely card for a bereavement.

It is printed on lovely quality, sustainably sourced card, and comes with a nice white envelope

Size: The folded card is A6 size: 160mm x 120mm.
