Chinese lantern plants are a striking autumn favourite thanks to their beautiful shape and colour. They are known for their glowing paper seed pods and symbolise resilience and life within death. As the plant’s bright orange outer husk dries and breaks down into a delicate, lace-like skeleton in spring, it reveals a bright red fruit hidden inside. Each one of these wooden Chinese Lantern plants by Maggie of Natty Deco is laser cut from birchwood and painted by hand on both sides.
