The name sums up this candle blend! Since the Awaken candle I stocked a few years ago, I’ve been looking for a similar lemongrassy, citrussy blend and this is it. These natural soy candles smell great and the packaging is really beautiful too. Kate crafts her natural botanical range of soy wax candles and melts on the edge of the Lake District National Park from natural ingredients and pure essential oils. They also feature these lovely wooden wicks which crackle softly like a fire.
Serene is a really unusual and special blend of uplifting and relaxing due to the top notes of lemongrass and verbena which are like a warm summer breeze and the base note of cedarwood, known for its grounding, peaceful properties. It’s the perfect mix.
Each candle comes in a lovely amber jar which can be reused as a plant or storage pot, with a screw top lid which helps the scent last longer and keeps the dust away. They also come boxed which makes them perfect for a gift.
