Since last year, I’ve been growing flowers and herbs to play around with drying them and noticing the beautiful shapes and colour changes in the meadow grasses around my studio too. This year, I noticed more pinks, red stems, and yellows. I discovered Pink Yarrow for the first time which dries beautifully. And I grew some beautiful Burgundy Beau scabious that dried dark red and all of that inspired this new Wild Dried Posy which I have called Dusk as it reminds me of autumnal sunsets. The golden light and dusk, the pinkish hue of the sky. I have created a small number of these dried wild posies for you to decorate your home. They look so beautiful in my blue stoneware bottle vases or just in a simple glass milk bottle. Each posy comes with a handwritten card explaining what flowers and grasses are in your posy and is tied with dark purple red raffia to complement the posy. They are carefully packaged in wood wool and a large box to ensure the blooms aren’t damaged in the post.
Posies include a mix of dried strawflowers, Persicaria Firetail, sanguisorba, scabious, nigella seedheads, pink yarrow, wild carrot seedheads, poppy seedheads, and golden meadow grasses. As they are individually made up, each posy will vary slightly.
Size: ca 25 to 30 flower and grass stems per posy
Colours: Pinks, Dark Reds, Browns, Golds
