When you buy a pair of these hand dipped beeswax candles, you are buying a piece of nature, hand crafted using techniques as old as the history of candle making. These beautiful beeswax stubby candles burn for up to 20hrs each.
The beeswax is sourced from Devin’s own apiaries in Devon and from beekeepers across the South West of the UK. The beeswax is pure beeswax and as a result these burn beautifully, the flame creating a soft warm light like British summer evenings, nothing quite matches the light given off by 100% beeswax candles. As these are traditionally hand dipped, there may be slight variations in each candle

Beeswax candles may seem expensive, but they burn more slowly than paraffin candles, and even better, beeswax candles burn cleanly with almost no smoke or scent and clean the air by releasing negative ions into the air. These negative ions can bind with toxins and help purify the air. They are often especially helpful for those with asthma or allergies and they remove common allergens like dust from the air.
Tips for using your candles:
• Remove all wrapping and packaging from your candle before lighting
• Ensure your candle is safely anchored and away from flammable objects before lighting.
• Keep your wick to no longer than 5mm
• Don’t use hurricane lamps or lanterns for your candles, beeswax burns far hotter than many candle waxes and reduces oxygen flow which may cause the wick to smoke the glass and cause wax to spill over the side or lead to uneven burning.
• Never leave a burning candle unattended
